While packing some glass for friends across the country, I noticed a cute quote on the newspaper I was using as wrapping paper: “And yet, it moves.” — Galileo.
It felt oddly fitting, given that I’m still figuring out how to package my glass safely for transport. My current method often involves a slightly ridiculous amount of bubble wrap for a comparatively tiny object, yet somehow there’s always still a little room for things to wiggle.
And yet, it moves. Despite the excessive layers and all my overthinking, the glass still makes it safely to its destination.
